About Us

Housed in a 100 year old former school house and gymnasium, The Sitkum Soap Works enjoys lots of room and the perfect home for the Sena family and their herd of dairy goats. A long standing desire to make soap led Marlene to take a class at UC-Davis to learn how to make natural goats milk soap. Jim is a retired Chemist and his expertise in this field has been a great asset to the business.

Breeding, showing and milking dairy goats for over 20 years the Senas have now moved to Oregon where the goats and their guard-llama, Emily, graze among the myrtlewood and blackberries. The girls are doing their part in keeping Oregon from being taken over with wild berry vines, while Jim and Marlene are using the goats' wonderful milk to make handmade goats milk soap at the Old Sitkum School.
